We were tasked with creating a brand identity for The Whole Health Life (TWHL). TWHL is the title of a new book by Shannon Harvey, following the success of the feature documentary “The Connection”. Along with the launch of the book, TWHL wanted to brand their new content network under the same name.
The final brief was to produce a brand that would transcend the diverse target audiences – a friendly, approachable yet factual and authoritative identity.
We undertook an extensive discovery and research process to explore the space and identify the competition.
Along with the branding process, we also produced concepts for the book cover – one of these was eventually selected and applied to both the hard cover and soft cover. We provided paper stock and print process guidance and produced the final artwork.
At phase 3 – with the book cover out of the way and the brand 95% complete, we were asked to further extend the design work to encompass the web site design. We also implemented the initial Shopify template.
